When does the next class start?

The theory lessons is one time per week and they run for a total of 9 weeks.
Tuesday the lessons run from 5:00 PM to approximately 8:00 PM.
Sunday the lesson run from 11:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM
You follow the weekday you select to start.

FAQ

You probably have many questions about the process, and you’re always welcome to contact us. We’ve answered the most common questions below.

  • You must attend a minimum of 29 theory lessons (45 minutes each).
  • Closed track (3 hours).
  • Slippery track (4 lessons of 45 minutes each).
  • You must drive 16 lessons of 45 minutes on the road.
  • A passport photo for your driver’s license is required.
  • A medical certificate issued by your doctor (approx. DKK 500-700).
  • An 8-hour traffic-related first aid course.
  • Application for a driver’s license through the authorities.
  • Theory test (you must attend all theory lessons before the test).
  • Practical test (note: you must pay for the use of the school car during the test).

In addition to the basic package, there are several mandatory costs associated with obtaining a driver’s license, such as the medical certificate, fees to the Danish Traffic Authority, etc.

  • Medical certificate, including photo: approx. DKK 500-800.
  • Fee to the Danish Traffic Authority for the driving test: DKK 1,170 (covers both the theory and practical tests, billed separately via digital post).
  • Administration and reservation fee: DKK 500 (billed with the package).
  • Additional test reservations: DKK 200.
  • Traffic-related first aid course: DKK 700 (billed with the package unless otherwise agreed).
  • Car for the practical test, including insurance: DKK 1,200.
  • Online theory access for 4 months – includes unlimited practice tests: DKK 500 (billed with the package).
  • Optional extra driving lessons (45 minutes): DKK 440 (as of June 15, 2022: DKK 475).
  • Optional extra driving lessons (60 minutes): DKK 650 (as of June 15, 2022: DKK 660).
  • Automatic gear normally extra DKK 100 – Free rest of 2024.

The legal requirements in addition to driving lesson is to learn Traffic related First Aid including First Aid in heart attack.

We can only provide the course in Danish.

We can recommend Red Cross, which provides Traffic related First Aid course in English.

If you can do it in Danish, you are so welcome at our courses.

Since January 1, 2017, 17-year-olds have been allowed to take driving lessons. However, they can only drive once they have completed their lessons and passed both the theory and practical tests, just like an 18-year-old.

Once they pass, they can drive with a qualified companion in the car until they turn 18.

You can begin driving school at 16 years and 9 months.

Lights, reflectors, and horn:

  • All lights and reflectors must be clean and functional.
  • Paired lights should have the same color and brightness.
  • Headlights must be white or yellowish and properly aligned.

Mandatory lights and reflectors requirements:

  • 2 Position lights: Visible from at least 300 meters without blinding others.
  • 2 Low beams: Asymmetrical, illuminating at least 30 meters ahead without dazzling (top edge should drop 1 cm per meter).
  • 2 High beams: Illuminate at least 100 meters ahead.
  • 2 Tail lights: Red, visible from at least 300 meters without blinding.
  • 2 Brake lights: Red, significantly brighter than tail lights when braking. New cars require 3 brake lights.

Parking brake (handbrake):

  • Should not be pulled all the way up. You should feel some resistance, and it should hold the car on an 18% incline.

Service brake:

  • Must work quickly, safely, and effectively under all speeds and loads.

Brake pedal:

  • Must have a non-slip surface. Should not sink when pressed hard, which could indicate brake system leakage.

Vacuum booster:

  • Pump the brake pedal with the engine off. Start the car while pressing the pedal – it should sink slightly, indicating the booster works.

Steering:

  • Should be light, safe, and self-centering. No play in steering for cars with power steering.
  • Check the power steering fluid level (between min and max).
  • Check for play in the steering with the engine running.

Tires:

  • All tires must be the same type.
  • Minimum tread depth: 1.6 mm across the entire tread.
  • Correct tire pressure. No cracks or aging.
  • Winter tires are allowed all year, but studded tires are only allowed from November 1 to April 15.

Shock absorbers:

  • There should be one shock absorber and one spring per wheel.
  • To check, press down hard on the car’s corner and release – the car should not bounce more than once.

License plate light (white):

  • Must illuminate the rear license plate, making it readable from at least 20 meters away.

2 Rear reflectors (red):

  • Must be round (not triangular) and approved.

Turn signals (yellow or orange):

  • Must be clearly visible, even in sunlight.
  • If they blink faster than usual, it often means one or more bulbs are not working.

Hazard lights:

  • All turn signals should blink simultaneously when activated.

Horn:

  • Must have a clear, constant sound.
